Her recipes have been featured in such publications as Fine Cooking, Better Homes & Gardens, Cooking Light and Southern Living, and her recipe column has been featured in Sauce magazine. In 2011, Karen became certified as a Holistic Health Counselor through the Institute of Integrated Nutrition in New York City.

Karen’s adventures in the cooking-contest world have been televised numerous times on Food Network Challenge, where you can watch her compete with other talented cooks from across the country.
